Kathryn R. Lehmann, 86, formerly of Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, passed away at 12:10 a.m. April 17, 2013, in The Hearth at Sycamore Village, Fort Wayne.
She was born Sept. 4, 1926, in Henry County, Iowa, to Harry Reschly and Fannie Conrad Reschly. On June 17, 1956, she married John Roger Lehmann, who passed away  May 27, 2003.
She was a resident at The Hearth at Sycamore Village since December 2012. Before that she was a six-year resident at Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, where she was a member of the Winona Lake Literary Club and Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church.
She was a graduate of Goshen College, where she received her teaching degree. She taught elementary school in Iowa, Texas, Illinois and Ohio. She retired in 1987 to Brownsburg, where she and her late husband  served in many local church ministries.
She will be lovingly remembered by two sons, Joseph (and spouse Donna) Lehmann, Warsaw, and John Mark (and spouse Susan) Lehmann, Forest, Va.; a daughter, Alene Enderle, Columbus, Ohio; seven grandchildren: Philip, Lindsay, Gail and Andrew Lehmann; Alex, Jonathan; and Katy Enderle; three brothers: Marion (and spouse Opal) Reschly,  Crawfordsville, Iowa; Ray (and spouse Wava) Reschly,  Kalona, Iowa; Vernon (and spouse Laura) Reschly,  Nowata, Okla.; and a sister, Elsie (and spouse Stanley) Burkholder, Washington, Iowa. She also was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Karyn Lehmann; three brothers: Willard, Orlin and Ben Reschly; and a sister,  Vera Buchanon.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Bruce Barlow. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Brownsburg Cemetery.
Calling is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
