SYRACUSE — Kathryn Knisley, 83, Syracuse, passed away July 8, 2017, at Goshen Hospital.
She was born Dec. 15, 1933, in Chicago, Ill., to Herman and Ruth Sloan Huey. On April 13, 1952, she married Kenneth R. Knisley, who survives.
She was a lifetime and emerita member of Lakeland Women's Bowling Association. She had been employed by General Telephone, Wawasee Bowl, Thornburg Drugs, First Federal of Wabash and Pamida.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth R. Knisley, Syracuse; three sons: Kevin Knisley, Bristol; Dana (Gloria) Knisley, Syracuse; and Brian (Sarah) Knisley, Syracuse; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild; and one sister, Wanda (William) Patrick, Miss.
She was preceded by her daughter, Dixie; three brothers; and one sister.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 15, at Eastlund Funeral Home, with Pastor Brad Cox officiating. Calling will be two hours prior from 2-4 p.m.
