NAPPANEE – Kathryn Barbara Elizabeth Myers Miller, 94, of Etna Green, died at 5:03 a.m. Dec. 5, 2012, in Bremen Healthcare Center. She was born Sept. 6, 1918, in Nappanee, to Henry and Versa Sechrist Myers. On Feb. 24, 1940, in Nappanee, she married Lloyd A. Miller, who died March 22, 1978. She was a homemaker and farmed with her husband. She was a member of Hepton Union Church, Nappanee, where she also taught adult Sunday school and was a chorister. Surviving are four daughters, Ruth Jane Miller and Patsy (and spouse Don) Kline, all of Etna Green, and Mary (and spouse Larry) Fervida and Susan (and spouse Dewayne) Bixler, all of Nappanee; grandchildren, Adam Fervida and Heather Kline (and spouse Jared) Hamsher, all of Nappanee, and Jason Kline, Etna Green; and great-grandchildren, Sydney Lain and Kelsey Eve Hamsher, both of Nappanee, and Taylor Martin, Elkhart. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Aaron Fervida; a brother, Delbert “Bud” Myers; and sister, Wilma (and spouse Kenneth) Hartzell. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hepton Union Church with Pastor Eric Eickhoff officiating. Burial will be in Sandridge Cemetery. Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the church. ***** Memorials may be given to Hepton Union Church or to the American Diabetes Association.
