SOUTH WHITLEY - Kathleen Ulshafer, 66, of South Whitley, died at 9:31 a.m. Feb. 13, 2009.
She was born April 22, 1942, in Warsaw, to John and Irene McCausey Paseka. On March 11, 1961, she married Jack D. Ulshafer, who survives.
She was a 1960 Warsaw High School graduate. She lived in California and New Haven and moved to South Whitley in 1972. She was a waitress for many years and retired from Dana PTG after 10 years of service.
Also surviving are three children: Cindy (and spouse Wes) Herr, North Vernon; Teresa (and spouse Rick) Cokl, South Whitley; and Jeff (and spouse Amanda) Ulshafer, Liberty Mills; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Leona Izumi, Stockton, Calif. She was preceded in death by a daughter, five brothers and two sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Miller Chapel, South Whitley, with the Rev. Paul Burris officiating. Burial will be in South Whitley Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
