Kasey Dawn LaRue, 53, Warsaw, passed away at 5 p.m. Jan. 17, 2015, in her home. She was born Sept. 24, 1961, in Warsaw, to Douglas D. and Irene Rose Riggens Kahler. She attended Warsaw Community Schools and was a lifetime Warsaw resident. She was a machine operator at Biomet for the past two years and had worked for Warsaw Orthopedic (now Medtronic) for 16 years. She loved the Lord; was dedicated to her work; known to crave chocolate; enjoyed working puzzles and fishing; loved her horse, Ajax, and her dogs, Tanner and Chopper; loved to write and enjoyed all kinds of music; she was the rock of her family and adored her grandchildren Surviving are two daughters, Amber (and spouse Ethan) Miller, South Whitley, and Ellen LaRue, Claypool; a son, Garrett LaRue, Elwood, Pa.; nine grandchildren; three sisters, Lucinda L. Kahler, Warsaw; Ruth (and spouse David) Mast, Nappanee, and Kristal (and spouse Greg) Prater, North Webster; a brother, Douglas C. Kahler, Carbondale, Ill.; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, March 10, 2005, and her mother, Aug. 5, 2014 Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, with Pastor Norm Reimer, Nappanee Missionary Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
