Karma Reverts To Original OwnershipTom Sampson opened the original Karma in Warsaw in 1991 and owned it until 1997 when he sold the business.
Now Sampson, along with his daughter and manager Tessa Birchmeier, have re-opened the store at 2606 Shelden St., next to Wings Etc. in Warsaw.
The store reopened Aug. 10, and like before it offers CDs, movies, posters and clothing.
They also have a computer where customers can special order CDs and receive 10 percent off.
Birchmeier said the CDs only take a couple of days to arrive.
She also said that a lot of special orders for movies are also placed.
Sampson has also owned the Karma in Plymouth since 1990.
LPs are also available for those who like to collect vinyl.
Birchmeier said there is also a skate shop inside the store where customers can build and customize their own deck.
All customers can also receive a Karma Free Stuff card where for every $10 spent in the store, the card is stamped.
The cards don't expire, according to Birchmeier.
After 20 stamps, customers get a $10 credit.
The shop also offers jewelry, puzzles, books, tapestries and other items.
Karma is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
