SYRACUSE – Kari R. Edwards, 52, of Syracuse, died at 9 p.m. Sept. 19, 2012, in her mother and stepfather’s residence in Syracuse.
She was born Jan. 13, 1960, in Denver, Colo., to Thomas L. and Beverly K. Alexander Koble. On Oct. 28, 1978, in Denver, she married James H. “Jim” Edwards, who survives.
She graduated from Wheat Ridge (Colo.) High School in 1978. She moved to Syracuse from Denver in 1984 and worked at Crossroads Bank for 13 years. She was a member of Crossroads Community Church, Goshen.
Also surviving are a daughter, Kristine (and spouse Zach) Marshall, Milford; a son, Brent (and spouse Cathryn) Edwards, Syracuse; a grandson; her mother and stepfather, Beverly and Barry Lintz, Syracuse; three brothers: Todd (and spouse Deanna) Koble, Syracuse; Brooks (and spouse Mary) Koble, Gilford; Matt (and spouse Dina) Koble, Nappanee; and a step brother, T.J. (and spouse Christine) Lintz, Boston, Mass. She was preceded in death by her father.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Crossroads Community Church, Goshen, with Pastor Marc Royer officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
Calling is from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the church.
