NORTH MANCHESTER — Karen L. Murphy, 68, North Manchester, died at 10:37 a.m. March 14, 2018, in her residence.
She was born July 28, 1949, in Warsaw, to Keith B. and Audrey J. Coldren.
She worked at Invensys Controls, North Manchester, for many years and was an Avon representative for several years. She was currently employed at Combined Community Services, Warsaw, for several years.
She graduated from Manchester High School in 1967 and received an associate degree from Ivy Tech. She and her family moved to North Manchester from Liberty Mills when she was 12 years old. She was an avid bowler and pet lover and loved spending time spoiling her grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, Tamara L. (Scott) Boocher, Roann; a brother, Dan (Marlene) Coldren, Claypool; three sisters: Judy Bone, Warsaw; Margaret (Charles) McGuire, Kokomo; and Mary Jo Steininger, Akron; and two grandchildren, Ian Boocher, Roann, and Brihanna Boocher, Roann.
Her parents and one brother, Kevin Coldren, are deceased.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind. 114W, North Manchester, with Pastor J. P. Freeman officiating.
Calling is from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary.
