BOURBON – Karen Faith Anthony, 48, of Bourbon, died Oct. 19, 2011, in Hospice House of South Bend, after an extended illness.
She was born July 28, 1963, in Beech Grove, to Kenneth and Janice Evans Houchin. On Feb. 14, 1987, she married Douglas Anthony, who survives.
A resident of Bourbon for the past 19 years, she was a teacher’s aide at Triton Elementary School until her illness. She was a 1982 graduate of Southwood Christian Academy and attended Plymouth Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are three children, Danielle, Winona Lake, and Alisha and Brandon, both at home; her mother, Janice Houchin, Martinsville; a sister, Angela (and spouse James) Gehbauer, Martinsville; and a brother, Rick (and spouse Cathie) Houchin, Franklin. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at The Country Church with Pastor David Gould officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bourbon.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church.
