DAVENPORT, Iowa - Kaplan University recently inducted online student Rebecca Jenkins, Syracuse, into the University's School of Health Science and College of Arts and Science Honors Program.
Jenkins, an educational paraprofessional major, earned at least a 3.5 grade point average and demonstrated academic achievement and leadership potential, earning an invitation into the honors program.Through the program, Jenkins will participate in online honors-level courses designed to hone critical thinking, leadership and communication skills. Honors students also will be required to participate in at least one service project per year, which will provide valuable real-world experience and opportunities to apply their skills for the benefit of their local communities.
