Posted

David and Margaret Kahn announced their retirement from active clinical practice, effective Aug. 1.
After 31 years in veterinary medicine, including 26 years at the Animal Medical Center, 207 W. Winona Ave., Warsaw, they said it is time for them to begin a new chapter.
“It has been a profound privilege to care for your pets and share in your families’ milestones over the years. We have witnessed firsthand the deep bond you share with your pets and we are incredibly grateful for the trust, loyalty and friendship you have extended to us. We will miss the wonderful clients and the amazing pets who made each day a pleasure,” the Kahns said in the announcement.
Pets’ records can be picked up or emailed to the pet owner. Send requests to amc_staff10@yahoo.com
During the next month, they will help pet owners with elective procedures, including dentals, spays/neuters, exams, vaccinations and lab work, including heartworm tests. They can provide medications, heartworm, flea/tick preventatives and foods for your pets to help with the transition to a new veterinary clinic.
If anyone needs to call their groomer, Marge, her phone number is 574-269-5525. She will continue grooming and she will make arrangements for her clients.
“We can not thank our staff enough for their dedication, loyalty and hard work that made it easier to navigate each and every day,” the Kahns said.
“Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your pets’ lives. Wishing you and your furry family members continued good health, happiness and many wonderful years ahead. It has been an honor serving this community,” they stated.
