Registration is open for the Kosciusko Association for Female Enrichment bi-annual symposium.
The event is set for Sept. 28 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a theme of “Be the Best You.”
“We are excited about this year’s symposium and invite professional women from Kosciusko County and beyond to join us for a time of networking, fun, food and learning. This event promises to be a valuable, yet relaxing experience for attendees,” stated KAFE President Mary Gerard.
Rebecca Kubacki, state representative House District 22, is the keynote speaker.
“We are fortunate to have State Representative Kubacki in our community. She is a strong leader with a great story that clearly portrays the theme of our conference,” said Gerard.
The symposium also features a women’s health panel, women’s self-defense training and a fun demonstration on packing light.
“We had also invited a speaker from Vera Bradley, but they had a conflict. In lieu of speaking, they have generously provided a nice tote bag for each attendee which we are filling with goodies,” Gerard said.
Door prizes, donated by local businesses, will be awarded throughout the event. Advanced registrants will be eligible for a chance to win one of two, one-year KAFE memberships.
Advanced registration is $30 through Sept. 21.
Late registration is $35 and will be accepted through Sept. 27.
Seating is limited, and advanced registration is encouraged.
The event is at the 2517 Restaurant, Warsaw and includes a light breakfast and salad/potato bar lunch with decorated cupcakes for dessert.
