Juvenile Questioned, Released in North Manchester Threat

NORTH MANCHESTER – Early Monday, the Wabash County Sheriff’s Department received information of a possible threat to the Manchester Community Schools.
According to a press release, the department then notified the North Manchester Police Department, who notified Manchester Community School administration officials and brought in extra officers to make sure that students and faculty inside the school were safe. The North Manchester Police Department, in conjunction with Manchester Community Schools, followed safety protocol and followed up on the investigation.
The release stated that with the assistance of the WCSD, a juvenile was questioned and released and the threat has been resolved. The extra officers were released and the school resource officer has resumed his duties at the school.
