Junior R. Collins, 64, of 701 E. CR 800S, Claypool, died at 6:30 p.m. March 7, 2010, in his residence.
He was born Feb. 12, 1946, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Roy and Rosie Wadkins Collins. On May 9, 1964, in Prestonsburg, he married Joanne Vanderpool.
A longtime Kosciusko County resident, he was a brake press operator at Par-Kan Inc. for six years. He was formerly employed at Warsaw Plating Works for more than 22 years. He attended Water of Life Church, Silver Lake.
Surviving are three daughters: Lisa (and spouse Bobby) Howard, Mentone; Vicki (and companion Randy Carr) Baldridge, Pierceton; and Janille (and spouse Kevin) Montel, Warsaw; his mother, Rosie Collins, Prestonsburg; four sisters: Edith Slone, Claypool; Faye Prater, Silver Lake; and Lois Wright and Lynda Likens, both of Prestonsburg; three brothers: Marvin Collins, Warsaw, and Riley Collins and Dwayne Collins, both of Prestonsburg; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Henry Junior Arnett officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
