Junior Production At Wagon Wheel Theatre Deemed A Success

When it comes to professionalism and quality, the Wagon Wheel Theatre’s summer season casts a giant shadow in the Midwest, according to a press release provided by the Wagon Wheel.
“The theater is recognized nationally as one of the top professional regional theaters,” it states.
Last weekend, however, it was all about the “little people,” literally.
Twenty-five boys and girls from Kosciusko County brought a professional quality to the Wagon Wheel Theatre’s first “junior” production of “Tiny Thumbelina,” the press release states.
“We knew this community could support this program, but we were blown away by the response,” said Wagon Wheel Theatre Artistic Director Scott Michaels.
The Wagon Wheel Theatre box office reported nearly 800 people enjoyed the show over the weekend, which is 50 percent higher than anticipated.
Michaels said, “We expect this program to grow year after year, so for our first show to be this well received gives us an outstanding idea of the direction we are headed. The future looks very bright.”
The lights will soon shine again as the next installment of the Wagon Wheel Jr. Series is set for April 21, with auditions taking place sometime in March.
