Juneteenth Program, Dinner In Warsaw SaturdayJoin One Warsaw and the African and Black Leaders for Excellence (ABLE) employee resource group of Zimmer Biomet for a Juneteenth program and dinner celebrating the rich history and contributions of African-Americans.
The event will be Saturday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Shrine Building, 1400 E. Smith St., Warsaw, according to a provided news release.
The program includes fellowship, activities and speakers:
• Joe Banks, retired community leader
• David Neff, Kosciusko County Senior Center director
• Dr. David Hoffert, Warsaw Community Schools superintendent
• Jalyn Radziminski, founder and president, Count US IN
• Paul “PJ” Hardy, Zimmer Biomet
The program is free to attend with sponsorship from Zimmer Biomet as part of the company’s commitment to supporting diversity and equity in the community.
For $10 per person, participants may purchase a dinner of pulled pork, macaroni and cheese and coleslaw provided by Big C’s Catering.
