June Elaine Kagin, 89, passed away at 3:05 a.m. Nov. 24, 2013, at Warsaw Meadows Care Center of Warsaw. She was born May 7, 1924, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Fred King and Ordelia Bills Elsner. On Aug. 14, 1950, she married George Robertson Kagin, who preceded her in death July 31, 1989. She graduated from Wauwatosa, Wis., High School, after which she attended Downer College in Milwaukee and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. In 1970, she received her master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin and became a teacher at the high school level. She had been a resident of Kosciusko County for the past nine years. She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, James Robertson (and spouse Dawn) Kagin, Warsaw, and Fredrick Henry (and spouse Donna) Kagin, Menomonee Falls, Wis.; two daughters, Margaret (and spouse Paul) LaPointe, Woodinville, Wash., and Roberta (and spouse Keith) Kline, Frederick, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with Pastor Josiah Kagin officiating.
