First Friday in July is “Great American Picnic” on July 3. The event is from 5 to 9 p.m. downtown Warsaw. Activities include music by Patrick Wood from 5:30 to 7 p.m., and Plaxton and the Void at 7 p.m. Activities include an Old National watermelon feast, Echoes of the Past tractor show and ice cream. Hot dogs will be 50 cents from Owens downtown, and Big Brothers Big Sisters will have games. First Friday is sponsored by Old National Bank, the Dr. Dane and Mary Louise Miller Foundation and the city of Warsaw.
