July 3- Purdue Jazz Band patriotic concert 7 to 8:30 p.m. Glover Pavilion in Central Park. Free concert.

July 4- Chapman Lake fireworks at dusk.

Winona Lake

July 3- Fireworks over Winona Lake at dusk.

July 4- Winona Lake Fourth of July Celebration sponsored by Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club and Winona Lake Parks Department.

2009 Firecracker 5K registration at 7 a.m. and the race begins at 8 a.m.

Parade lineup at 11:15 a.m. to noon and parade awards at 12:30 p.m. at center stage with parade theme "Dr. Seuss"

Free blow up game activities with a blow up obstacle course and moonwalk from 1-5:30 p.m.

Cutie Contest for ages 4-6 with registration from 1 to 2 p.m., private interviews from 1:30-3:30 p.m. and cutie awards at 4:30 p.m.

A car show with a free entry fee will be from 1:30-4 p.m. with awards at 5:30 p.m.

Live band "Moxie" will perform from 2:30-5:30 p.m.

Food vendors, crafts, face painting, and games will be available.

July 4- MasterWorks Festival Orchestra, Patriotic Pops Concert, with conductor Patrick Kavanaugh at 7:30 p.m. at Hillside Amphitheater, Winona Lake.

Lake Wawasee road race starts July 4 at 8 a.m. at Syracuse Community Center. The race includes a 3.3-meter walk, 3.3-meter run, and an eight meter run.

Lake Wawasee Flotilla Parade July 11 at 4 p.m.
