Julie Logan-Rogers

SYRACUSE — Julie Logan-Rogers, 84, Syracuse, passed away on April 29 at the Goshen Hospital. 

She was born on Dec. 6, 1932, in Goshen, to Ralph and Eva Kessler Logan. On Aug. 8, 1954, she married Ernie Rogers, who survives. 

She was a lifelong area resident. She was a 1950 Goshen High School graduate and attended Ward Belmont College, Nashville, Tenn. After moving from Goshen to Syracuse, she lived on both Lake Wawasee and finally resided on Syracuse Lake. 

She worked for many years as a medical secretary. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. 

Julie is survived by her husband, Ernie Rogers; her daughter, Shelly Rogers, and son-in-law Terry Stump; and her son, Scott Rogers. Also surviving are her sister-in-law, Patsy Logan; and several nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded by her daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Dan List. 

A memorial service honoring Julie will be held at 1:30  p.m. Saturday, June 3, at the North Webster American Legion Pavilion. A celebration of life will follow from 2-4 p.m.
