Julie Datsko Koleff, 93, Warsaw, passed away at 10:54 p.m. Sept. 11, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Jan. 7, 1922, in East Gary, to Nick and Josephine Toborski Datsko. On Aug. 5, 1942, she married Sam Koleff, who preceded her in death Jan. 29, 1985. They were married for 42 years.
She was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past four years, and a long-time resident of East Gary/Lake Station.
She was a very loving and compassionate person helping those in need of assistance. She loved to cook and dance, but most of all she especially loved her family. She was a longtime member of The Protection of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church in Hobart. 

Survivors are: her daughter, Susan Overton, Warsaw; a stepdaughter, Dorothy Bailey, Merrillville; two grandchildren, Laura Overton, Cincinnati, Ohio; and Mitchell (and spouse Maggie) Overton, Omaha, Neb.; three stepgrandchildren, her brother, Michael (and spouse Linda) Lubeck, Portage; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a son Nick, five sisters and three brothers. 

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, with Pastor Mike Beezley officiating. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
