NAPPANEE – Judy A. Shields, 74, Nappanee, and formerly of Laporte, died at 6:50 a.m. Feb. 17, 2014, in Goshen Hospital, where she had been since Saturday. She was born July 18, 1939, in Stark County, to Howard and Evelyn Good. On July 20, 1957, in Kingsford Heights, she married Larry Shields, who died Oct. 11, 2001. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the First Mennonite Church with the Rev. Janet McFall-Brown officiating. Burial is in South Union Cemetery. Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and for one hour prior to services at the church. ***** Memorials to First Mennonite Church or Goshen Cancer Center at I.U.
