Judith “Judy” Reneker-Burd, 85, Winona Lake, died at 12:02 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, at Paddock Springs Assisted Living in Warsaw.
She was born Aug. 6, 1938, in Oak Park, Ill., to Ruth Peterson Todd and Adam Robert Todd. Judy married William “Bill” C. Reneker on May 24, 1958, in Oak Park, Ill.; he died Dec. 31, 1993. On Jan. 1, 2006, she married Rev. William F. Burd; he died Dec. 5, 2013.
Judy’s life will be celebrated with an evening candlelight service at 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23 at Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 210 S. High St., Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Erik Ohman. Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 3 to 5 p.m. A private family graveside will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
