Judith 'Judy' Ann Barker

ELKHART – Judith “Judy” Ann Vanlaningham Barker, 65, Milford, passed away peacefully April 8, 2015, at her residence after a courageous fight against cancer.
She was born July 9, 1949, in Warsaw, to Howard and Mary Jean Wolferman Vanlaningham. She was married to Stephen Barker, who survives in Milford.
She is also survived by her mother, in Milford; her son, Tony Barker, Santa Cruz, Calif.; her daughter, Stephanie Ducheteau, Milford; her two brothers, Terry (and spouse Brenda) and Mark (and spouse Melanie) Vanlaningham, all of Mentone; two granddaughters,  Theresa (and spouse Matthew) Phillips, Sacramento, Calif., and Josephine Ducheteau, Milford; a great-granddaughter, Charlotte Rose Phillips; and six nieces and nephews: Cameron (and spouse Kelly), Cory, Benjamin and Samuel Vanlaningham; Hilary (and spouse J.D.) Parker; and Emily (and spouse Chad) Dennie. She was preceded in death by her father.
A memorial service will be at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Brook Pointe Inn, 4906 E. CR 1200 N., Syracuse, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Family members will be available from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. for anyone who would like to pay their respects before the service begins.
