AKRON - Judith E. Thomas, 67, of 1154 S. CR 1450E (Rock Lake), Akron, died at 11:46 p.m. Oct. 30, 2007, in her residence.
She was born Dec. 15, 1939, in Alexandria, to William T. and Olive Kane Simmons. She married Hobart Thomas, who preceded her in death.
She worked at odd jobs.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Randy (Judith L.) Hackworth, Akron; two sons, William L. and Thomas W. Cunningham, both of Akron; a sister, Mrs. Bob (Janice) Armstrong, Alexandria; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter and a sister.
Services will be at noon Friday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with the Rev. Frank Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.
Calling is one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
