FORT WAYNE — Judith E. “Judy” Osha, 75, passed away Feb. 15, 2017, at her home in Syracuse. Born in Fort Wayne, she graduated from North Side High School in 1960 and went to work for the Lincoln National Life Insurance Co., where she met William, her husband of 53 years. After dedicating several years to raising her children, Thomas and Robert, she returned to school to study nursing, eventually earning a BSN degree in 1985 from Indiana University and later her RN. She worked for almost 20 years in the family practice of Edwin Bolander, MD. She subsequently held positions as director of nursing for a senior care facility, member support with the United States Chamber of Commerce, and customer care at Heckaman Homes. She was preceded by her loving parents, Elton and Hilda Gordon; and by her husband, William. Surviving are her son, Thomas (spouse Susan) Osha, Wyoming, Ohio, and their children, Zach and Peyton Osha; son, Robert (spouse Stephanie) Osha, Melbourne Beach, Fla., and their children, Tyler and Ryan Osha; and a brother, John Gordon, Clearwater, Fla. The service is at 1 p.m. Saturday, with calling two hours prior, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne.
