SOCORRO, N.M. – Judith Ann Nellans, 63, passed away peacefully Nov. 2, 2013, in Socorro, N.M. She was born June 29, 1950, in Linton to Charles and Betty Boling Graves. She grew up in Rosemont, Ill., and enjoyed riding horses when she was young. She moved to Socorro in 1995, and taught piano and flute for the past 17 years. She enjoyed knitting and also playing her flute. She was a woman of strong Christian faith. Surviving are her mother; a cousin, Anne Berkeypile; her daughter, Melissa (and spouse Tim) Baca; her son, Eric (and spouse Tina) Nellans; two grandsons, Lee Nellans and Nicholas Baca; three brothers: Jim, Gary and Donnie Graves; and her sister, Carole (and spouse Jim) Beavers. She was preceded in death by her father. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Socorro Cemetery.
