Judgmental

Editor, Times-Union:

It amazes me on all these people that are so judgmental without even knowing you.

First off, let me say Seth (Allen) is like a son to me. He is a very good friend of my sons. I live by him and he is a very responsible 18-year-old like his mom stated.

To the lady that turned him in. If you think your son is doing everything perfect, I doubt it.

To Reny Missos, nobody said what Seth did was right.

To Joanne Kolbe, if everybody did what that mother did to help the cops do their job?? I don't get paid to do their job.

I have nothing against police officers because there are a few great ones that I do associate with, but I am not trained nor do I get paid to help them do their job. Just like no one helps me do my job.

But most of all to Steve Jones. What Seth's mom, Charlotte Allen, wrote about her son is the truth. Seth is a very responsible 18-year-old. So he made a mistake. We all do.

Oh but then again, maybe you haven't because you sound so perfect.

Yes, he did get his girlfriend pregnant and quit school to get a job. But you know what? He was man enough to do that. He could have been one of those deadbeats and left her and then where would she be? On welfare and we would be supporting her baby. Did you think about that? No, because you and your parenting skills must have went smoothly through life without any mistakes made by you or your kids.

And then you ask why he was out spending money on the fight instead of at home raising his kid. People are entitled to go out and have some fun outside of work and home every now and then. It doesn't mean he's not at home raising his kid.

You make me sick!

But out of curiousity, how did he get that band to be served alcohol? Was somebody at Wagon Wheel not doing their job?

I'm not saying what Seth did was right because it wasn't and he will have to pay for what he did. But answer this? Do two wrongs make a right? Because let me tell you, I was told some stories by Seth on how he was treated and things that were done to him while he was in jail by the jailers and police officers and it was very pitiful. I hope like heck he gets a lawyer and sues them because it is disgusting to know what our law enforcement that is suppose to "Serve and Protect" did to him. So I think they should pay for what they did too. Maybe it will go public and you will all find out one day too.
