Molly Thompson is an English as a second language and language arts teacher at Lakeview Middle School. In several of her classes, students use reading program called Achieve 3000 to help increase students’ reading levels. The week of April 23, one of her students received the most points in the program out of any student in the nation. Javier Juarez scored the most points during the week of 4/23 - 4/27 compared to all students using TeenBiz nationwide. Juarez won an electric dictionary, and earned 200 bonus points and an achievement. In addition, his name was posted to the National Weekly Top Scorer scoreboard.
