BOURBON - Juanita Irene Scott, 83, a resident of Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth, and formerly of Bourbon, died at 5:15 a.m. May 26, 2010.
She was born April 16, 1927, in Warsaw, to Carl and Hilda Johnston Blackburn. On Aug. 20, 1954, she married John S. Scott, who died Jan. 24, 2002.
A resident of the Bourbon area most of her life, she was a member of Bourbon United Pentecostal Church, where she had attended since she was 4.
She is survived by a granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bourbon United Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Mike Rohrer and Mark Cottrill officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bourbon.
Calling is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the church.
Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, Bourbon, is in charge of arrangements.
