Juanita Hale, 86, Goshen, and formerly of Warsaw, passed away at 12:31 a.m., July 12, 2015, at IU Health Goshen Hospital. She was born Dec. 15, 1928, in Coal River, Raleigh County, W.Va., to Alfred and Thelma Cook Peters. On Oct. 3, 1953, in Angola, she married Homer Hale, who preceded her in death Jan. 9, 1972. She was a factory worker for Goshen Rubber, where she retired. She then worked part time for Walmart. Survivors are: her daughter, Carol (and spouse Paul) Fisher, Indianapolis; two sons, Robert “Randy” and Larry Hale, both of Goshen; her companion, Ernesto Gonzalez, Puerto Rico; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She also was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Michael Otto Hale; her brother, James Peters; her grandson, Greg Hale; and her granddaughter, Lori Ann Hale. Graveside services will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, at a later date. No calling is planned.
