PIERCETON – Joyce Rowe, 52, died at 10:25 p.m. July 30, 2012, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

She was born Nov. 23, 1959, in Columbia City, to Lloyd D. and Edith Owens Minnix. On July 5, 2008, in North Webster, she married Arlie A. Rowe, who survives in Silver Lake.

Living most of her life in Kosciusko County, she was a homemaker and worked at R.R. Donnelly & Sons for eight years and OMCO Midwest Roll Form, Pierceton and Columbia City, for two years. She was a member and affiliated with the American Legion Auxiliary, Pierceton,  for 21 years and the American Legion Riders and ABATE.

Also surviving are a son, James Kessler, Tucker, Ark.; a stepson, Cody A. Rowe, Silver Lake; a brother, David Minnix, Warsaw; and two sisters, Barbara Farmer, Pierceton, and Linda (and spouse Craig) Slone, Sidney. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton, with Pastor Chad Burkhart officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.

Calling will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday  at the funeral home.
