FORT WAYNE - Joyce Marie Bacon, 64, Leesburg, died Aug. 21, 2008, in her home.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She was married to George S. Bacon for 44 years, who survives in Leesburg.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Syracuse, and St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She was a member of Tippy Ladies Association and American Legion Post 253 Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include three daughters: Christine (and spouse Charles) Jinks, Susanne (and spouse Paul Malnor) Guitard, and Kelly (and spouse Delvin) Wolf, all of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren: Samantha, Vincent and Isaac Jinks, Luke and Danielle Guitard, Taylor and Ashton Wolf; her mother, Virginia Lewis, Port Richey, Fla.; a sister, Judy (and spouse Byron) Dalhaus, Florida; and a stepsister, Delores Scheer, Cleveland.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, with Father James Kumbakkeel officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home with a vigil at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, and one hour prior to services at the church.
