NORTH MANCHESTER - Joyce J. Overlander, 67, of North Manchester, died at 4:50 a.m. Sept. 22, 2007, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born May 9, 1940, in Rochester, to Maynard "Hap" and Josephine Bucher McCloughan. On Feb. 21, 1964, she married Donald L. Overlander, who survives.
She worked at Eaton Controls for 35 years, retiring in 2002. She was a member of Amazing Grace Community Church, Sidney.
Also surviving are three sons: Tony Overlander, Warsaw; Mike Swick, North Manchester; and Duane Owens, Silver Lake; a daughter, Mrs. Chuck (Brenda) Eckert, Claypool; a brother, Oscar McCloughan, Akron; two sisters, Mrs. Corby (Marie) Hollon and Mrs. Elmon (Charlotte) Bays, both of Silver Lake; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a foster son.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
