BOURBON - Joyce J. "Nana" Rock, 59, of 60 1S. Bourbon St., Apt 12, Bourbon, died at 6:06 a.m. Sept. 10, 2010, in her residence, of natural causes.
She was born May 7, 1951, in Merrillville, to John and Mildred Thornberry Anderson. On Aug. 6, 1994, she married Martin Rock, who survives.
She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ, Argos. She was a cashier and desk night auditor for several of the hotels in Plymouth and formerly was the detention lady at Knox High School.
Also surviving are four children: James (and spouse Lisa) Wilson, Julie Hutchinson, Joyce (and spouse Dean) Lark and Jeremiah (and spouse Lynn) Wilson; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jay Anderson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, Bourbon, with the Rev. Lloyd Howard officiating.
Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
