GOSHEN – Joyce I. Hunley, 84, died March 31, 2014, at Courtyard Healthcare. She was born May 7, 1929, in Monticello, Ky., to Otha and Myrtle Crabtree Davidson. On March 30, 1946, in Monticello she married Willie J. Hunley, who died Dec. 3, 1996, in South Bend. She was a homemaker, and spent time working at Kercher’s Sunrise Orchard, Proof Co. and Goshen Cushion. She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn (and spouse Michael) Bickel, Warsaw; two sons, Billy Hunley, Syracuse, and Jim Hunley, Elkhart; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bobby Davidson, Middlebury. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, Tim Bickel; two brothers, Otha Jr. and Paul Davidson; and a sister, Dorothy I. Roberts. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, with the Rev. Kirk Barger of Calvary Baptist Church, Oswego, officiating. Burial is in Violett Cemetery.
