SEYMOUR, Tenn. – Joyce Hatcher Ellerbe, 65, of Strawberry Plains, died July 15, 2012.
She married Alfred Ellerbe, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children: John (and spouse Angie) Ellerbe; Rick (and spouse Phyllis) Gibson; Doretha (and spouse Jerry) Fuhr; Betty Kitts; Crystal Pennington; Carroll Ellerbe; Alfred Ellerbe Jr.; and Nathan Ellerbe; 23 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Cardwell and Betty Burkey; and three brothers: George (and spouse Betty) Hatcher; Clarence Hatcher; and Nick (and spouse Mary Alice) Hatcher. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Shelton; her parents, Rube and Mary Hatcher; a grandson, Daniel Gibson; a brother, Sam Hatcher, and several other brothers and sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Atchley’s Seymour Chapel, 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, Tenn., with Brother Bill Gower officiating. Burial will be in Atchley’s Seymour Memory Gardens.
