NORTH MANCHESTER – Joyce C. Piper, 74, of North Manchester, died at 8 a.m. May 21, 2013, in her residence. She was born Feb. 18, 1939, in Spring Valley, N.Y., to John and Martha Hoage Stysly. On July 3, 1980, she married Duane E. Piper, who survives. She was an insurance agent in Hallandale, Fla., from 1974-2000 and owned Piper & Piper Insurance Agency from 1987-2000. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 286 and Women of the Moose, both of North Manchester. Surviving are a son, Mark Drotch (and Karen Whitt), North Manchester; a daughter, Cindy (and spouse Donald) Cook, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and four step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a stepson. Services will be at 5:30 p.m. May 31 at Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester, with Pastors J.P.
