Joyce Ann Groves, 67, of Jasper, Ark., and formerly of Warsaw, died April 19, 2009, at the North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
She was born Aug. 6, 1941, in New Castle, to Clifford and Fern Lovegrove Tutterow. She married Larry Dean Groves, who survives.
She and her husband moved to Newton County from Warsaw Jan. 23, 1992. She worked at Jasper Christian Book Store from 1993 to 2005. She was a member and missionary with the Endtime Handmaidens Inc., and also attended Christ for the World International in Fort Smith, Ark.
Also surviving are two sons, Jon Jon Eric Groves, Clear Lake, Iowa, and Michael Ray Groves, Warsaw; two daughters, Tirzah Renea Miles, Warsaw, and Sondra SueEllen Khan, Palm Bay, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were April 22 at the Ozark Glory Tabernacle, south of Jasper, at Mockingbird Hill, with Bobby Hogan officiating. Burial was in El Shaddai Gardens Cemetery, Engaltal Valley.
