SYRACUSE - Joyce A. Maule, 74, of Barbee Lakes, Warsaw, died at 6:55 p.m. March 25, 2007, in Lakeland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, Milford.

She was born Aug. 29, 1932, in Richmond, to Floyd and Rosemond Smith. On April 4, 1953, she married Jack Maule, who survives.

Moving to this area from Louisville, Ky., in 1976, she was a homemaker, a realtor for Pier 13, North Webster, and previously co-owned Barbee Hardware Store. She was a member of North Webster United Methodist Church and was involved with Lakeland Kiwanis. She loved birds, golf and in previous years making candy for the former Joy-Dot Sweet Shop.

Also surviving are two sons, Jeff Maule, Syracuse, and Jon Maule, North Webster; four grandchildren, Jessi, Tyler, William and Chelsea; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Ann Maule.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at North Webster United Methodist Church, 7822 E. Epworth Forest Road, North Webster. Burial will be in North Webster Cemetery, Mock Addition.

Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Harris Chapel, Syracuse, and one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.
