Joy Dee Burton Good, 60, died Aug. 24, 2010, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born in Winamac to Jerry and Jean Burton. She married Donald Good, who survives in Fort Wayne.
She graduated from Elwood High School in 1968 and attended Indiana State University. She was an administrative assistant with Elliott Insurance for seven years. She was a loving wife who appreciated spending time with her family. She enjoyed reading, travel, movies and the performing arts.
Also surviving are her mother, Jean Burton, Plymouth; four sisters: Marsha Harmon, Encinitas, Calif.; Beth (and spouse Joe) Davis, Manhattan Beach, Calif.; Barbara Weichselfelder, Fort Wayne; and Kelly (and spouse Joseph) Janicki, Aliso Viejo, Calif.; a brother, John (and spouse Kathy) Burton, Roanoke; a sister-in-law, Carolyn D. Fisher, Frankfort; and 18 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Burton.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne.
