ELKHART – Joshua Schoettmer, 31, of Elkhart, died July 30, 2011, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.
He was born Aug. 4, 1979, in Warsaw, to John A. Jr. and Jeannie Hiatt Schoettmer.
He worked at Heartland RV, Elkhart.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Jeannie and Phillip Hiatt; a daughter, Sunshine Schoettmer Metz, Claypool; two sons, Joshua K. Schoettmer Jr. and Devon Butler, both of Elkhart; a brother, Jason Schoettmer, Claypool; sister Causha (and spouse Daniel) Hoover, Marion; and grandparents. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Hartzler Gutermuth Inman Funeral Home, Elkhart. Cremation will take place following the service.
Calling is from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
