Josephine L. "Grandma Jo" Leiter, 80, a lifetime Kosciusko County resident, died at 9:25 p.m. July 20, 2009, in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Sept. 25, 1928, in Burket, to Elmer and Evelyn Duff Holloway. On Aug. 4, 1950, in Warsaw, she married Richard T. Leiter, who survives.
She was a homemaker, a former member of Touch of Life Church, Warsaw, and a member of New Life Christian Church, Warsaw.
Also surviving are three sons, Tommy and Chuck Leiter, both of Warsaw, and Terry Leiter, Brooksville, Fla.; a foster daughter, Ruth (and spouse Jim) Guffy, Warsaw: 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Donald (and spouse Sylvia) Holloway, Bourbon. She was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Leiter, who died May 19, 1981, and a brother, Luther Holloway, who died Dec. 23, 1987.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor John Lowe of New Life Christian Church, and Pastor Rick Cooper of Touch of Life Church, both in Warsaw. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
