OSCEOLA - Josephine H. Roberts, 90, of Elkhart, passed away Dec. 12, 2010, in Valley View Health Care Center, Elkhart.
She was born April 1, 1920, in LaPorte, to Stanley and Frances Kapasinski. On Jan. 25, 1943, in LaPorte County, she married Harold Wayne Roberts, who died in August 2008.
She worked in the cafeteria at Concord School for more than 20 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing golf, knitting and crafts and cooking.
Surviving are two sons, Gary (and spouse Brenda) Roberts, Gauley Bridge, W.Va., and Allen (and spouse Connie) Roberts, Elkhart; a sister, Dorothy Hill, Michigan City; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
Calling is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
