Josephine Fields, 83, passed away at 8:55 a.m. Oct. 8, 2015, in Signature Health Care, Bremen.
She was born March 31, 1932, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Albert and Anna Stephens Hall.
On July 31, 1951, she married Okie Fields, who preceded her in death in 1981. She lived the past 47 years in Packerton, coming from Wabash. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Old United Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons: Okie Lee (and spouse Pam) Hall, Packerton; Arthur Fields, Mentone; Tommie Fields, Leesburg; two daughters, Kathryn Yates, Clunette, and Irene Black, Etna Green; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and two sisters, Mary Jane England, Fort Wayne, and Geneva Stephens, Marion, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Fields, who died in 1959; six sisters: Bessie Wallen, who died Dec. 18, 2013; Edith Collins; Mabel Prater; and Eve and Ethel Hall and Ruth Ousley; two brothers, Boby Hall, who died in May 2004, and Elbert Hall, who died Dec. 19, 2003.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Titus Funeral Home, with Pastor Terry Bradford, First Freewill Baptist Church, officiating. Burial is in Rose Hill Cemetery, Silver Lake.
Calling is from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, IN 46580.
