Josephine F. Manning, 93, of Warsaw, died at 6:43 p.m. March 27, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born Dec. 29, 1919, in Chicago, Ill., to Joe and Stella Sherman Tushner. In Chicago, she married Foster W. Manning, who preceded her in death in 1965. She moved from Chicago to Warsaw in 1977. She previously worked for Bally Corporation in the assembly department. Prior to 1965 she worked for Demand Butter and Eggs. She enjoyed vegetable gardening and playing the piano. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw. Surviving are a son, Foster W. Manning, Ramona, Calif.; a grandson, Glen Manning, San Diego, Calif.; two granddaughters, Vicki Lynn Reid, Chicago, and Dawn Marie Essig, San Diego; a brother, Jo Tushner; and a sister, Theresa Bochonok. No services are planned. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Chicago.
