Josephine E. ‘Jo’ BeckerNORTH WEBSTER – Josephine E. “Jo” Becker, 91, of North Webster, passed away at 10:08 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021, at Paddock Springs Healthcare in Warsaw.
She was born on Feb. 13, 1930, in Nappanee, to Ward and Melba Price Rensberger.
She attended Milford High School and was a lifetime Milford/North Webster area resident. She was married on Aug. 14, 1949, in Milford, to Paul Ivan Becker, who preceded her on Nov. 18, 2017. She formerly worked at Heater’s Engineering in North Webster, Johnson Controls in Goshen and Cecil’s Tomatoes in Milford.
She is survived by daughter, Stacy Huff, of Nappanee; son, Daniel (Pamela) Becker, of Leesburg; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Amos, of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Jimmy Huff; two sisters: Kate Emmons and Mary Holland; and brother, Doug Rensberger.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27 at Owen Family Funeral Home, Ind. 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27 in the funeral home with Pastor Mike Beezley of the Clunette United Methodist Church officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw. Private family burial will take place in the Milford Cemetery.
