AKRON – Joseph William “Joe” Day, 72, Akron, died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024.
Joe was born Jan. 5, 1952, in Hammond, to Richard E. “Dick” and Julia “Judy” Ann Bidwell Day. Joe married Marianne Billman on July 11, 1987, in Fulton.
The funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with Pastor David Eaton officiating. Interment will take place in the Akron Cemetery.
Visitation hours will be 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron. A fireman’s service will conclude the visitation at 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Henry Township Volunteer Fire Department or the Akron Cemetery Association.
