SYRACUSE – Joseph M. Line Jr., 81, of North Webster, died Jan. 18, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Syracuse.
He was born Aug. 5, 1930, in Syracuse, to Joseph M. Line Sr. and Carrie Stump. On Dec. 31, 1971, he married Sharon Metge, who survives.
A lifelong area resident, he was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of North Webster American Legion. In 1993, he retired from Johnson Service after 43 years as a machinist.
Also surviving are a son, Robert Line, Cromwell; two daughters, Yyvonne (and spouse Danny) Paff, Goshen, and Michelle (and spouse Larry) Lockhart, Syracuse; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, followed by a military walkthrough and honors at 4 p.m.
