Joseph Lee Coon, 31, passed away March 19, 2017, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born May 31, 1985, in Warsaw. He was a lifelong area resident. He was employed as a welder at Forest River Marine, Middlebury. He was a member of Vineyard Community Church, Syracuse. He is survived by his daughters, Khamya and Realynn; his son, Braxton; parents, Daniel (Jeanette) Coon, Warsaw, and Teresa (Brian) Rich, Cromwell; four sisters: Danielle (Nick) Stickel, Goshen; Ashley Rich, Cromwell; Breonah Rich, Cromwell; and Amanda Brewer, Tennessee; three stepbrothers: Phillip Oest and Tim and Cory Boarders; grandparents: Floyd (Judy) Coon, Lee (Sharon) Polston, Lawrence (Helen) Rich and Tanya Heath; a great-grandmother, Lucielle Coon; three nieces; two nephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded by his stepbrother, Andrew Boarders, and his grandmother, Sharon Coon. Visitation will be from noon until the 2 p.m. service Saturday at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse.
